The Manchester United South Hampton signing Luke Shaw raised an alarm about Mourinho’s plot to oust him from the club.
A far cry to the playing time he was given by other managers, Shaw has cried out at the lack of game time Mourinho has accorded him.
Shaw only came on three minutes to the end of the game in Manchester United’s 2 nil victory over Swansea at the Carabao cup and has only featured in 2 games for the Red Devils this season.
Shaw’s whimsical career at the Old Trafford has been battered with spells on the sidelines due to injury and feuds with previous Manchester United managers.
Last season, Shaw was lambasted by Jose Mourinho for the defender’s deplorable performances during important games for the club.
In a move to regain his place in the Manchester United starting lineup, Shaw mustered all his strength to get back in the foray but was taken aback by an injury to his ankle which saw him end last season on the sidelines.
Shaw watched on in horror as Axel Tuanzebe, 19, performed exceptionally at the Carabao cup last night in his place
Shaw who has moved down the left full-back pecking order to fourth place believes his future at United is doomed according to sources.
Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young are favored at the left fullback position ahead of Shaw by United’s manager Mourinho.
Manchester United could probably trigger a contract extension clause for at least a year for Shaw, whose contract comes to an end next summer.
