Manchester United and Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he is excited about the thoughts of playing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic because the club needs someone like him to succeed.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic signed a new Manchester United contract after he suffered a long term injury that ended his season during the game against Anderlecht last season in the Europa League.
Lukaku joined Manchester United this season and he is already looking forward to playing with the big swede striker.
“I already told Zlatan that I would love to have him back. The team needs his personality,” he said. “He is the kind of player that will bring a lot of qualities to us, and help in the team’s goal of winning the title.”
The 34-year-old striker who has had spells at Juventus, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain might be imposing but Lukaku revealed that he won’t be intimidated by the striker in the team’s dressing room.
“I am a striker who doesn’t fear any form of competition from anyone. I am doing really great at Manchester United and I also had a great pre-season at the club which has made it easier for me to settle down at the club.”
Always Admired Mourinho
“The manager Mourinho has also helped me adapt really quickly and everything has been really positive because I am playing with a coach that I have always admired since I was age 11 and we hope to do special things together.
“It is all about progressing and doing the right things in my career”.
