Coming back: Sharon Osbourne negotiates whopping £2m deal to return to the X Factor

Sharon Osboure has managed to secure a huge £2m deal to make a return as a judge on the British X Factor. Mrs Osbourne defied the odds to lead Finnish contestant Saara Aalto to the finals last year, amid worried that the British public might not vote for someone who was not a fellow countryman. However, Ms Aalto’s talent shone through, with the support of her mentor.

Now Ms Osbourne is said to have signed a £2m deal with music mogul Simon Cowell to come back to the talent show next year. However, the star is understood to have signed up with Mr Cowell without having finalised commitments in America where she is due to appear on The Talk.

According to sources, signing up to the X Factor deal without confirming with The Talk could lead to a difficult situation for Mrs Osbourne. There are fears that she could have to change her schedules because she has not yet been given the go ahead to take part in the X Factor by bosses for The Talk.

Judging panel favourite

Mrs Osbourne was immediately a hit on the judging panel when she signed up for the X Factor initially in 2004. She went on to take part in a further five seasons before leaving the show, and then making a come back last year. She has won the show previously, with her act from the older category, Sam Bailey, being crowned in 2013. She almost made it to the top again with Ms Aalto, but the Finnish national was pipped at the post and came in at number two.

Ms Osbourne appears to be throwing herself into work to deal with a difficult year of personal troubles. Her rock star husband Ozzy was reported to have had an affair with celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh.
